Reviews and updates resident care plans and care directives as necessary and per direction of the DNS in compliance with Nursing Center (Center) practice and regulations. Conducts interdisciplinary resident care conferences at 72 hours post admission, again with the Admission RAI process, inter-Center unit transfer, and at a minimum quarterly ongoing or at time of a significant change in condition per regulations and as directed. Assists the DNS with managing, supervising, coordination, and participating in resident care programs, including the day to day oversight of care delivery in conjunction with other IDT members. During nursing rounds will validate care delivery, staff performance, and validate that resident needs are being met timely and professionally. Participates in Unit Committee Meetings such as but not limited to Resident Care Conferences Nutrition/Hydration/Skin, Behavior and Medication, Unusual Events, and fall prevention. Assists DNS to develop, interpret, implement, and validate that Center policies and procedures, standards of practice, and regulatory guidelines are adhered to by unit staff.
