Directs staff through subordinate management, establishing objectives and evaluating performance. Develops team with strong management and professional competencies to support business. Establishes operating policies and procedures and assists General Manager with the development of budgets and overall business/function(s) strategy and direction. Ensures plans are developed and budgets are in place to provide adequate staffing and resources to execute strategy. Achieves financial objectives, including revenue, expenses, gross margins, operating expenses and earnings as applicable, within framework of overall corporate objectives. Builds strong business relationships with other leaders in the Telemedicine business and throughout the Company to provide for smooth work coordination to accomplish objectives. Aligns and integrates cross-functional teams and provides for cross-organization and cross-functional communication, processes and system improvements. Leads directly and indirectly through a matrix-type organization. Leads smooth integration of corporate standards with department processes and procedures as applicable. Ensures adequate technology and systems resources are budgeted for and available to support the business. Participates personally in meeting with largest/key customers/vendors to maintain strong business relationships. Takes action to ensure a quality internal/external customer experience as needed. Prepares reports, presentations and other information summarizing business activities and providing strategic direction. Maintains knowledge of changes and developments in the industry affecting business activities. May participate in related outside industry groups and forums. EDUCATION: Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Masters degree or equivalent preferred. TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL NEED: Proven leadership skills and ability with diverse groups of people. Strategic thinking and planning ability to develop and execute business strategy. Strong leadership achievement record. In-depth experience with the operations, products and services in the businesses managed. Ability to work in a collaborative manner across multiple business units. Organizational, people development, performance management and change management skills. Minimum of 3 years Java experience. Experience in relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle and SQL Server a plus. Experience with SQL database design, implementation and debugging a plus. Experience developing commercial JAVA solutions for Windows or Linux a plus. Experience with SOA protocols (SOAP and REST). Experience with JQuery, AJAX, and SPRING MVC, desirable. Java, Database, server, and knowledge of security, AWS, Cloud, Containers. Experience with Jest and Nightwatch. Skills, Knowledge and Ability: Thorough technical knowledge of development methodologies, design and implementation Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance Proven analytical and design skills at multiple product levels Skills in research and analysis Ability to write detailed software design specifications from product specifications and requirements documentation Effective communication skills (written and verbal) with customers, suppliers, senior management, and other company personnel Capacity to understand, interpret and explain complex technical systems Demonstrates an ability to be flexible on priorities while working accurately, with attention to detail, in a fast-paced environment Basic Project planning and implementation skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment based in several locations Experience with JDBC, Hibernate, and/or other database access technologies is a plus. Serve as a Technical Support Analyst, providing tier 1-2 one-on-one technical support to users at all levels of the organization. Provide resolutions for issues received via the Service Desk ticketing system, email, telephone calls and walk-ups. Quickly identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention. When necessary, track, route and redirect issues to correct resources using a warm handoff. Support enterprise software uplifts. Participate in weekend and holiday on-call rotation. Representative tasks include, but are not limited to: Remote and deskside troubleshooting of software issues. Must be able to support the Office 2010-2016 suite, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, and many other Windows applications, including engineering software (AutoCAD, etc.). Must also support Macs running Office, Mail, and other applications. Configuring and advanced troubleshooting of workstations, laptops, printers, network equipment and wireless devices, including mobile devices like iPhones and iPads. Imaging computers and troubleshooting imaging issues using SCCM. Workstation deployments and recoveries. Maintaining hardware and software records using Lansweeper. Documenting all work done from initial request through request completion in our Service Desk ticketing system. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: 2 years of experience providing hands-on technical support to end users in an enterprise environment. Must demonstrate initiative, strong ownership of issues and high performance. Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010, 2013, 2016, Windows 7, Windows 10, antivirus applications, computer imaging, videoconferencing equipment, printers, and remote access tools. Some experience supporting Macs in an enterprise environment. Experience with imaging and hardware deployments using SCCM Understanding of DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory as it relates to user desktop issues and troubleshooting. Understanding of TCP/IP networking protocol to do preliminary network troubleshooting. Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a calm, non-alarmist demeanor when troubleshooting.
