Operate the cash register and prepare customer transactions and receipts efficiently. Fully understands register functions, opening and closing procedures and balancing the cash registers at the end of each shift or as scheduled. Adhere to and execute bank deposit process. Execute all company policies and objectives within the store, ensuring that the VS brand and company is well represented. Stay current and up to date with policies and procedures. Ensure store team dresses in accordance to the personal appearance policy. Lead the store in the absence of the SM to include opening / closing, customer service, store maintenance (interior and exterior) and coaching / delegating to the team. Effectively communicate and bring to life the company’s vision, values and sales goals at daily meetings. Provide timely feedback on goals and initiatives. Foster and actively participate in donation drives as determined by the CSC. Maintain operational effectiveness of the store by, among other things, working opening shifts, working closing shifts, working weekend shifts and otherwise remaining compliant with the scheduling guidelines as the business dictates. You must demonstrate flexibility with your availability that supports the needs of the business. Other Functions: Follow management direction in completing other duties as required. Flexibility to work in other locations depending on the company’s business needs. Supervisory Responsibilities: No direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and instruction. Health and Wellness industry experience preferred. Required Knowledge: Familiarity with retail sales, merchandising programs and procedures and the competitive retail environment. Experience in or personal passion for the health, wellness, and nutrition industry. Experience Required: 3-5 years of experience as a retail store manager. Skill and Ability: Strong interpersonal and public relations skills.Good organizational and problem solving skills.Flexibility to work nights and weekends.Computer skillsValid Driver’s License, except where inability to drive is because of a medical condition.
