MTM Technologies has an immediate contract opportunity for a Senior Exchange Engineer to support a premier client in Southfield (Detroit), MI. Must have expert level knowledge of Exchange and Microsoft technologies and ability to work remotely. Duties include supporting the following Exchange 2007 and Active Directory 2003 (key) and 20122016 DNS and DHCP Proven ability to handle bringing org up to current versions through multi step initiatives SCOMSCCM Cisco, Citrix, VMware Experience with migrations and upgrades legacy systems Microsoft Project and day to day operations experience Documentation, road maps, scope and implementation documents Qualifications Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Exchange Engineer and support experience High level troubleshooting capabilities with technologies listed above Experience supporting large scale projects, migrations, implementations, etc. Excellent customer service and communication skills Bachelors Degree in Information Technology preferred Relevant Certifications such as MCP are preferred Duration 6 months with possibility of extension Schedule Day shift, Mon through Fri, 8am to 5pm Location Remote but within commuting distance of Detroit, MI is preferred. Travel 25 to 50 if not within reasonable commuting distance from Detroit. System Requirements Must have capability to provide uninterrupted support remotely, eg. internet service connection and laptop. This role is accountable for the direct supervision of the work activities of front-line associates and performs personnel scenarios including, selection, termination, performance appraisals and professional development of associates.MAJOR TASKS, RESPONSIBILITES AND KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES50%- Directly organizes and supervises day to day operations and activities of a contact center team of associates in order to achieve key performance goals and service objectives. Including accurate and timely handling of customer transactions, monitoring associate productivity and service level for quality. 20%- Supports the building and developing of an effective and high performance team. Provides hands on coaching in order to improve and maintain team performance and is directly responsible for the performance management process for direct reports.
