Job Description The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the Company Quality Management System and for providing management with support for understanding quality risks and opportunities and for meeting project quality requirements. Responsibilities: Including but not limited to: Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the Company Quality Management System. Develop and implement improvements Help project team understand quality requirements, risks and opportunities Support project team with developing quality plans, inspection and testing methods, quality documentation, and closeout Be familiar with quality plans, specifications, and contract requirements for ongoing projects Monitor and provide project management support with the disposition of NCRs Conduct quality audits to assess performance/compliance and report to management Support project pursuits and estimating with prequalification, proposals, and identifying quality risks and opportunities Oversee compliance with state and federal radioactive licenses for sealed sources Maintain knowledge of industry and government requirements, standards and specifications affecting quality Coach and develop Quality personnel Prepare quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends Communicate pertinent quality information to Project Management, Project Directors, Regional VPs, and Corporate Periodic travel will be required Attend and participate on industry quality committees Carry out job duties while maintaining Lane values And other duties as assigned Attributes: Highly effective communicator, maintains a positive attitude, and works diplomatically Excels in teamwork, engages personnel, and builds reliable relationships Leads by example, with integrity, transparency, credibility and accountability Excellent time management skills and ability to organize and prioritize work assignments Demonstrates good judgement, decision-making, and ability to influence Qualifications: 10 years’ experience writing and implementing quality plans, conducting training, audits and inspections and managing quality control and assurance in construction industries 5 years’ experience managing quality personnel Experience working with COE, NAVFAC, FHWA and DOTs, FAA, FRA and tunnel projects BS in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Appropriate certifications such as: RSO, COE CQM, ACI, DOT, CCM. ISO 9001 experience and PE preferred.
