The qualified candidate will have the ability to perform ERCP, EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Manometry, Bravo, and Capsule. EUS training would be a plus. The practice is situated one mile from hospital campus and has flexible hours Monday - Friday. The growth of the practice has been at a rate of 1, 500 new patients per year for the past seven years. The current physician averages 70 cases per month, with 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient. Practice call is 1: 4 and hospital call is 1: 7. The new physician will ramp up quickly to an average of twenty plus patients per day. Endoscopy has a team on call and a late team scheduled every day. The endo schedule for procedures is from 7a - 3p and schedules vary greatly amongst the physicians. The hospital is a full service acute care facility with all specialties offered with the exception of neurosurgery, transplant surgery and open-heart surgery. There is a robust hospitalists program that has been in place for 8 years with 6 hospitalists.
