About the pay and other important stuff . . . the job will be full time with benefits. Starting pay will depend on experience and will range between $33,280 and $38,480. We pay hourly (this job starts between $16 and $18.50) and we pay overtime. Medical benefits provided for the employee after 60 days. We offer a retirement plan after one year. If we like the person we hire - and they like us - then the pay bumps another 50 cents per hour after 90 days. The job is open now and we will hire as soon as we find the right candidate. But before you apply, go back to that part about reading newspapers. If you haven't read a newspaper today - and did not read one yesterday - let's both save some time and pretend you never read this ad. We don't mean to sound cranky but after doing this more than a few years we know there are lots of things we don't know - but the one thing we are certain about is that good reporters read newspapers. If you're interested, please submit a brief resume, with references (the more the merrier) and contact information to *****************.
