In 2016, the Lawrence Branch received a grant from the Children's Investment Fund for $800,000 to renovate the childcare area in that branch. This was the opportunity to begin the next capital campaign for our Association, this time in Lawrence. Currently, we are at 50% of our goal of $6,000,000. The next phase of the renovation is to begin shortly with the addition of youth locker rooms, pool viewing room and expanded family locker rooms. The building committee meets monthly to review plans and discuss updates and changes. The fundraising committees meet regularly and have created a plan for fundraising and marketing for the Lawrence capital campaign.
