Functional duties consist of Comprehensive monitoring of cyber tools, reviewing system and application logs, intrusion detection alerts for indication unauthorized activity, insider threat, or criminal behavior punishable by law, code or statue. Discover, identify, mitigate and report intentional or unintentional unauthorized use of customer information and information systems. Monitor for fraud, waste and abuse, including content inappropriate to the workplace, Illegal Activity, Productivity Loss and Non-Compliant Activity and provide support to Threat Mitigation Cell, Law Enforcement, General Counsel, Inspector General, customer privacy Office, and the customer Operations Security (OPSEC) Office through investigative research, forensic examination, internet monitoring and formal reporting. Identity Leakage (PII) Related, DoD Directive 54000.1, Privacy Program, which constitutes detection of SSN, Credit card information and other Personally Identifiable information. Determine if information constitutes a violation of Personally Identifiable information especially when the information is sent outside Government network, Information does not belong to person sending it, information is not encrypted or password protected. Produces case evidence and reports. Prepares incident reports of analysis methodology and results. Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned. Participates in special projects as required. Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience. Qualifications The contract position requires 8 years of related data security administration experience. A TSSCI clearance Candidate's willingness to obtain and maintain CI Poly. An approved DoD 8570 IAT II certification prior to employment. Viable certifications that meet this requirement are Security CE, CCNA Security, CSA, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP. Most candidates obtain the Security CE certification. The candidate to obtain an 8570 CSSP Auditor certification within six months from the date of hire. Viable certifications that meet this requirement are CEH, CySA, CISA, or GSNA. Position may require evening, weekend or shift-work (depending on operational tempo). Essential Job Duties The Department of Textile and Apparel, Technology and Management is searching for a faculty member in Textile Design (TD). The successful candidate should have expertise in fibers, yarns and textile materials including design, development, structure, and technology in academic and/or industrial environments. The candidate is expected to have a strong interest in applying their expertise to the current and emerging areas of research related to fibers/fiber-based products, as well as synergistic interdisciplinary collaborations across multiple disciplines and institutions in close partnership with industry and government. Faculty members in TATM have the responsibility for teaching, research, extension and engagement, and service. Dissemination of research to academic and industry audiences is expected. This dissemination should be balanced and can take the form of published works and/or juried exhibitions. Faculty members are responsible for seeking extramural funds for teaching development and research. All faculty members are expected to be involved in the operation of the department, college, and university by serving in various capacities (for example, on committees, boards, panels, task forces, and commissions).
