B. BACKGROUND The Office of the Assessor has built enterprise application and assessment systems utilizing Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies. The Office requires provisional contract IT development staff to develop with Oracle Fusion Middleware in an Agile Development environment. The contractor will design, develop, and test software development based on user requirements to improve and enhance this enterprise system known as Assessor Modernization Project (AMP). While the AMP system is still in development, it is also currently in Production being utilized by several County departments. The senior application developer positions will provide application development and support to this system. C. DESCRIPTION OF WORKDUTIES The Consultants shall perform all of the following duties middot Act as technical expert for the enterprise application development of the Assessorrsquos Modernization Project (AMP), utilizing Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle Database, Oracle security stack, and other software products. middot Work in an Agile open collaborative environment working closely with scrum team members of application developers, scrum masters, testers, subject matter experts, product owners and business stakeholders, project managers, architect, and other IT technical staff, to design, develop, build, test, demo, document, deploy, and maintain AMP enterprise applications. middot Provide technical expertise on back-end and middle-tier application development for AMP, fully engaged in Agile SDLC sprintsrsquo activitiesceremonies and releasesrsquo activities for end-to-end design, development and testing of data access, data modeling, database objects management, data replication, data integration with data acquisition and conversion, data validation and refresh with data qualityintegrity strategy, application integration, and reportingdashboard. middot Work closely with Oracle consultants and other contractors to support AMPrsquos development, testing, and external releases activities. Ensure AMP is implemented, deployed, and maintained properly. middot Program highly specialized software code, analyze and solve the more complex problems and exceptions from data sources extension, application development, integration and system performance. middot Analyze performance data and conducts capacity sizing and planning, and application and database performance monitoring and tuning. middot Establish quality assurance with automated and continuous testing procedures and code. Monitor dailyweeklymonthly scheduled jobs to ensure system availability and accuracy. middot Follow best practices and standards and comply to architecture principles, data modeling and LOV standards, design patterns, and source code version control. middot Create, review, and update various technical specifications and documentation. middot Transfer all programming codes, scripting, documentation, and knowledge to internal staff. middot Report to AMPrsquos Program Manager andor Technical Architect.
