Overview The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. The Nurse Manager for the Adult and Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant clinics is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the services and daily operations of their department/clinics. For one large unit or more than one smaller unit within a 24 hour department, supervises the implementation, delivery and evaluation/improvement of quality patient care/nursing operations and services that add value and are integrated with nursing standards of practice, service priorities and performance/outcomes measures, as well as with departmental, business and organizational goals/objectives.
