Job Description: Need someone to help troubleshoot an issue with an integration to HMRC (UK taxing system). The code is delivered in PSoft with a “simple” modification to add the employer ID in the XML (Waiting on that “simple” code now). Looking for a talented resource who can understand the functional issues and propose a technical solution to solve the problem. The client thinks that biggest part of the issue is they need code to reverse the transactions at HMRC and HMRC is not being very cooperative. This will be a significant troubleshooting effort and requires a resource with strong people skills. Once the reversal is done then code needs to be fixed so that it no longer happens. Looking for someone who has dealt with HMRC before if possible as HMRC is not being very cooperative… Resource may not even have to write the code. Here’s all we know… When they converted to 9.2, they started sending data to HMRC (UK taxing system). Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs(HRMC) The 9.2 format has two ID’s and not just the national ID. Problem is that HMRC now created duplicate taxing records for the staff. HMRC is not being helpful with resolving the issue – they are saying the payroll system needs to deal with this. They need a payroll expert in HMRC that can help clean this up … Might need to coordinate directly with HMRC (who are not being cooperative) Bottom line is they really don’t know what the issue is (although they suspect it’s related to the modified XML) and HMRC refuses to help troubleshoot from an IT perspective so they need someone who may have dealt with HMRC before . - provided by Dice GIS
