Ensures Technicians understand their role in safety and in driving a safety culture. Creates a positive work environment and builds a culture of loyalty and respect. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and improves operational efficiencies with dispatch, fleet, and customer service. Conducts tool box talks or a mechanism for engaging each technician everyday Reviews daily routing schedules in advance of the day of service Checks in with each tech every day Conducts check rides Solves technicians problems in a timely manner Observes technician driving habits Monitors morale Delivers customer interaction training Ensures technicians are properly trained in all aspects of their job Actively works to gain the respect of subordinates through daily interaction with subordinates; promoting team work, harmony and productivity. Reviews all work orders daily Leverages employee talents by increasing strengths to promote optimal operational efficiencies. Ensures a safe and healthy work environment is maintained at all times and all personnel are trained in operational safety policies, procedures and requirements. Enforces company safety policies and ensures safety equipment is provided as needed to employees so they may safely perform the duties of their jobs without injury to themselves or others. Overview B-Shift Primary function of this position is to ensure proper management of the assigned dispatch coordinators in the management of company assets for the safe and efficient movement of freight. The Dispatch Supervisor coordinates the assigned dispatchers for the efficient and timely entry of all company and customer related data into the company transportation software and/or related software in the transportation department. Works closely with company Load Planners and outside Carriers and ensures assigned dispatchers execute the efficient Load Plan models to ensure that the customer's needs are being met including the communication of essential information of pick up and delivery information to the customer, carriers, and drivers. Ensures the assigned dispatchers updates the transportation software database files with customer, EDI, carrier, vehicle, driver information, and all other relevant information. Ensures that all accident and incidents regarding driver injury, equipment, and driver safety concerns are reported to the Human Resource, Driver Supervisor, Transportation Manager and Safety Department. Ensures the proper training of all assigned dispatchers in the assigned responsibilities. Ensures all department required forms and documents are completed in a timely basis. Manage monthly content calendars for multiple brands by scheduling content across appropriate channels at their respective times Conduct regular social listening in order to proactively engage with consumers discussing the brand or category across social media, as well as analyze sentiment and conversation trends Build and make recommendations for evolution of social media strategy Identify and communicate trends and improvements to the account and strategy team to make optimizations that help drive the business Qualifications: 1-3 years' experience executing marketing programs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Excellent communication and written skills Deep understanding of purpose and functionality of all social media channels Experience using social media monitoring and management tools Self motivated, has a positive attitude and able to multitask Knowledge of Digital Marketing current best practices Why we will love you: Your sense of humor is on the same level as your work ethic.
