Our Regional Business Leader would be field based and preferably live in Michigan (Detroit area), Indiana (Indianapolis area) or Ohio (Columbus, Cincinnati, or Cleveland area). Job Summary: This position will act as an integral member of our Commercial Sales Leadership team by developing and executing strategic business plans to deliver sales results for our key Type 1 Diabetes product launch. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Providing leadership, inspiration, coaching and development to a team of 7-8 experienced sales professionals to deliver sales results Responsible for delivering sales results on a regional level Utilizing knowledge and expertise of local market trends, institutions, and key customers to optimize our national strategy to drive business results Utilizing internal resources, such as market data and analysis to shape regional business plans and to provide insight and guidance to territory plans to drive business results Providing ongoing coaching, performance feedback and inspiration to build a high performing and engaged team Identifying and seizing opportunities to build organizational efficiency and process improvements to positively impact business results Required Skills Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years biopharmaceutical industry sales experience. Minimum 3 years sales leadership experience Experience in leading teams and delivering business results. Experience in specialty sales, with diabetes drugs preferred.
