Position Overview We are looking for someone who is passionate and can take leadership in interacting with content owners on a technical level. The role will consist of providing customers and sales reps with products and/or solutions advice and guidance during pre-sales discussions. You will be asked to maintain working knowledge of engineering and complex aspects of our products; answer complex questions on function and usage; and solve sales support problems. Demonstrated ability to multi-task across a wide range of tasks and clients. Demonstrated ability to present to technical audiences and be able to handle objections on the fly. An ability to listen to customer needs, assess these needs effectively and address them through new product and service offerings. A proven track record delivering on or exceeding goals. Demonstrated experience with client-side tools and technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, in-browser debugging, etc.) Experience with at least one server-side language (PHP, Python, Java, etc.) strongly preferred Hands-on approach to tackling tactical as well as strategic work. Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Experience developing technical solutions. Experience working with OVP and Mobile solutions preferred. Experience in streaming media or video space preferred. Understand and use the computer system to access information, enter orders, credits, back orders etc. to accurately and efficiently move through the sales transaction. Know the location of all stock and put material back in its proper location. Police the counter and general customer area for potential safety hazards to employees and customers. Co-ordinate lunch and break periods with Branch or Operations Manager to insure adequate coverage at the counter area. Participate in product and procedural training seminars as requested by the Branch Manager If authorized and assigned by the branch manager, accept product returns from customers and enter return order into the computer system. Obtain additional information necessary for warranty and non-stock product returns. If authorized and assigned by the branch manager, cash out the daily cash register receipts. Participate in cross-training in other department functions to allow for the opportunity to provide coverage to other areas. Perform all duties in a consistently safe manner and adhere to all company safety policies. Perform other duties as assigned.
