Senior Computer Systems Validation Specialist

SENIOR COMPUTER SYSTEMS VALIDATION SPECIALIST Position Summary: GBT places a high value on cooperative team dynamics and a positive, "can-do" work ethic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs CSV projects related to authoring and executing specifications and validation documentation according to the GAMP5 Validation Life Cycle, including: Validation Plan, System Requirement Specification (SRS), Risk Assessments, Functional Requirement Specification (FRS), Design Specification (Software and Hardware), Commissioning, IQ, OQ, PQ, Summary Reports, Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Periodic Review of Computer Systems and Audit Trail review Draft validation protocols in line with corporate guidelines procedures, cGMP and ISPE GAMP guidelines and regulations Draft a CSV validation plan detailing the scope of work and intent Identify specific tests and requirements to be met in the IQ/OQ/PQ that address requirements. Ensure all work is in line with Validation Plan, regulations, procedures and practices. Review and execute Computer System Validation protocols Draft risks assessments and applicable test scripts Prepare validation summary reports for executed protocols Liaise with other departments (Technical Operations, Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, IT) in execution of the Validation program Anticipate and assess/prevent technical problems from impacting product and processes Work with Business Owner(s) and System Owner to ensure the validated state of the system with change control activities Participate in and track Computer System Change Controls Track and resolve deviations/exceptions during qualification activities Assist in the development of training material for qualification activities Participate in cross functional teams as defined by manager Communicate and ensure compliance with Quality objectives, policies and procedures Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business/technical area or comparable education/experience Hands-on experience in CSV in the pharmaceutical industry, or related industry. Title and responsibilities to commensurate with experience. Minimum 2-3 years of experience Knowledge of FDA guidelines and Global cGMPs relevant to 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements and Global Computer System Validation and ISPE GAMP guidelines Ability to establish clear priorities Ability to work effectively under pressure, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines Ability to write technical documents (Validation plan, URS, FRS, Traceability Matrix, IQ/OQ protocol and report etc) Ability to independently identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence individual and teams across the organization in the absence of a direct reporting relationship Able to work collaboratively in a matrix structure while ensuring that timelines and deliverables are met High energy, enthusiasm and excellent leadership and management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills, good decision-making skills and time management skills is a must; ability to interface with all levels of the organization Knowledge in risk assessment, gap analysis, changes control and deviation management Fit with GBT culture: Ability to build strong relationships with co-workers of various backgrounds and expertise Ability to function at a high level in a team setting whether leading the group or acting as an individual contributor Values-based leadership consistent with GBT's Core Values Excitement about the vision and mission of GBT Flexibility Integrity NOTE: This position summary is not intended to be all-inclusive. The team partners with front line organizations, corporate risk oversight functions as well as compliance program teams to ensure appropriate compliance program integration of laws, rules, regulations, and applicable regulatory guidance.This Compliance Consultant 5 role in Wells Fargo Compliance is an exciting opportunity to drive quality compliance risk management processes across the organization by developing a deep understanding of an assigned regulatory portfolio and its applicability to and impact on Wells Fargo s risk profile. The Compliance Consultant confers with the legal department, lines of business (LOB) partners, control executive partners and compliance partners including testing and validation along with other risk partners as necessary to ensure appropriate and effective risk assessment and risk management activities are in place for assigned regulatory sources.The Compliance Consultant leverages expertise of retail banking and consumer protection related laws, rules, regulations and agency guidance to drive compliance risk management processes across Wells Fargo. This includes regulatory change management, risk assessment activities, development of major compliance requirements, identification of expected controls, development of control review guidelines and partnership with testing and validation teams, as well as collaborations with legal and compliance program teams to facilitate quality independent risk management activities. The Compliance Consultant also works across the organization to influence development of relevant corrective actions to address issue root causes and improve control design and effectiveness. Rather than focusing on archaic outdated design, we strive to consistently question the “status-quo” and create new and more innovative ways to help aging adults maintain their quality of life. With over 23 programs, we offer multiple ways to aid seniors maintain their health, well-being, independence and participation in the community, fulfilling our mission. The Community Living Fund (CLF) is seeking a Social Worker / Care Manager III (CMIII) to join its team in San Francisco. The Social Worker / CMIII will provide intensive case management services for a caseload of 17-22 Community Living Fund clients. Responsible for the assessment of clients with multiple medical and psycho-social needs. Plans for and monitors services and interventions ensuring provision of quality care. Provides mentor-ship and training for all new CLF Care Management (CM) staff and interns. Assumes responsibility for some of the program’s most complex clients and takes on program development projects as necessary. Participates in CLF Leadership meetings, actively identifies/participates in program development projects, and serves as community liaison. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provides mentor-ship, consultation, and training for all new CLF CM staff and interns. Assumes case management responsibility for some of the program’s most complex clients. Participates in CLF Leadership meetings a minimum of twice monthly. Accepts program development projects as assigned. Creates an intensity categorization scale to systematically improve caseload balance. Acts as an ambassador for CLF promoting referrals and representing the team in community meetings with integrity and professionalism. Facilitates CM Development Program by identifying, scheduling, and coordinating monthly presenters. Implements CLF Policy & Procedure Manual revision recommendations on an annual basis. Participates in hiring process by scheduling interviews, preparing interview questions, and providing hiring recommendation feedback. Acts as a surrogate approver for CSBG time study as needed, ensuring double billing with MediCal waiver programs has not occurred. Acts as a liaison between CLF and providers serving large numbers of CLF clients such as primary care clinics, housing organizations, etc. Conducts comprehensive assessments and on-going re-assessments of the client including psycho-social, physical and mental health, environmental and spiritual needs. Writes comprehensive assessments. Based on assessment information with the client develops and initiates the Community Living Plan, which is client-centered, comprehensive and consistent with program guidelines and policies and procedures. Conducts home visits, acute hospital & skilled nursing facility visits, as well as escorts clients to medical and other appointments as clinically indicated. Establishes and maintains a care management relationship with clients and their informal support network as appropriate, offering respect, dignity and support. Provides crisis intervention, advocacy, problem solving, and therapeutic interventions. Identifies, arranges for, and monitors appropriate community services based on a good knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and other entitlement programs. Meets with clients at least monthly, and more often as clinically indicated. Reviews and modifies their Community Living Plan on an ongoing basis. Documents via progress notes all case management activity regarding identified problems within 24-48 hours, adding any new problems to the Community Living Plan, as needed. Maintains required paperwork and follows a clear, concise, and consistent system of charting to allow for continuity of care. Ongoing evaluation for client Purchase of Service needs and follow-up to determine if services have been provided in a timely manner. Educates clients and informal support network about resources. Establishes and maintains open and effective communication with community providers, including physicians and other health care and social service workers. Provides appropriate information on all significant aspects of individual client care and program operations, while maintaining necessary confidentiality. Monitors the quantity and quality of the services provided by other involved providers. Working closely with the team, continuously evaluates the clients’ ability to remain safely at home; coordinates placement as appropriate, according to program guidelines. In collaboration with the client, caregiver, and involved services, terminates clients when appropriate. Documents the process as required. Participates in research studies and data collection, as required. Participates in and promotes ongoing efforts towards Continuous Quality Improvement. Utilizes supervision appropriately; maintaining open lines of communication and providing updates on caseload activity. Actively incorporates the ethical and legal standards of the National Association of Social Workers into all aspects of interactions with others. Understands and applies the regulatory and procedural requirements of Community Living Fund as well as the policies and procedures of Institute on Aging. Attends continuing education classes and/or in-service training to increase knowledge, skills and attitudes related to case management, gerontology, family and community systems and other areas relevant to the Community Living Fund client population. All other reasonably related responsibilities as assigned. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: S.W. (Master’s in social work) degree required. Two years working with disabled adults and/or older adults required. Experience with and understanding of the medical and psycho-social problems of functionally impaired adults and older adults. One year’s experience working within a community-based case management program with a similar target population. Experience working with individuals with mental and/or behavioral health diagnoses and substance abuse disorders highly desired. Exceptional communication and presentation skills relating to functionally impaired adults and older adults, their support systems and teams of health professionals. Demonstrates case management skills and experience in the community health care delivery system. Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
