Partner with program staff to maintain up to date knowledge of programming, metrics, individual stories, and goals. Promote an organization-wide culture of philanthropy. Operations: Implement best practices in development operations and systems for both day-to-day operations as well as long term planning and projections across donor acknowledgement, tracking, and engagement. Translate broad fundraising goals into achievable actions. Keep informed of current trends in philanthropy and fund development as well as in the field of management in the not-for-profit sector, informing the Board, CEO, ED about best practices, innovations, issues, problem-solving and other activities in order to facilitate policy-making. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree in related field with at least six years of senior management experience within or outside the nonprofit sector; advanced degree preferred but not required. Track record of effectively leading and scaling a development function and team of a non-profit organization.
