Types and or prepares confidential reports or correspondence. Initiates, composes, and types complex correspondence from draft and/or Dictaphone, and recurring reports. Summarizes accounts payable/reimbursements results and action plans. Arranges meetings, schedules appointments, completes travel and overnight arrangements and maintains meeting tickler for calendar of vice president. Provides administrative support to management team members, as requested. Revises and screens visitors, telephone calls, and incoming mail. Interacts effectively and regularly with influential people within and outside of the Health System. Two years college or business school, or 4 years of equivalent experience (in addition to the minimum 3 years required experience). Able to obtain a comprehensive understanding of departmental and Hospital policies and procedures, budget verification and analysis, spreadsheets and database management. Day Shift 8:30 to 5:00 40 hours per week No Weekend Work Required Minimum 3 years' experience in health care administration, office experience, or customer service experience. Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information and situations. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of standard word processing, power point and spreadsheet software. Ability to learn new computer systems as necessary.
