What You’ll Do: Act as primary escalation point for the support team Ensure support team is providing best-in-class support Develop standard operating procedures for the support team Constantly evaluate needs of clients and adjust team processes accordingly Investigate complicated data discrepancies using SQL Communicate technical details to clients via email or phone Correct data discrepancies Act as liaison between the support team and all other internal teams Train and onboard new support specialist hires Determine what improvements can be made to Product and/or QA process in order to provide clients with the highest quality data Skills You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering 4 – 6 years' experience with data analysis/QA and customer/product support Experience mentoring, training, and leading teams of support personnel Proficient in SQL – extensive use throughout career Experience with financial market data. Solid understanding of Options preferred. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. The IT Systems Administrator should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. The IT Systems Administrator should have at least five (5) of related experience maintaining corporate technology infrastructure. Certifications such as MCSE and/or MCSA and VMware Certified Professional preferred. Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. Knowledge of computer, server and networking hardware. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to develop creative solutions to problems as they arise. Ability to explain and translate highly technical subject matter to layman's terms. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as technical skills. Ability to keep up with the changes in information technology. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at a level adequate to perform the duties of the position. Experience with VEEAM Backup and Replication preferred. Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, co-workers, subordinates, and outside clients.
