This may include using applications to create new test accounts, and/or using SQL queries to query databases to locate accounts that will meet test data criteria, or using automation tools to create or modify test accounts. • Configure automation scripts using SoapUI and Groovy script, and use these scripts to create and modify test accounts for various applications. • Oversee the Intake/Triage process for new test data requests. Meet with test data requestors in a timely manner to ensure we have a thorough and correct understanding of the type of test accounts needed by the project. Interface with requestor throughout the request fulfillment process to get validation of sample accounts, inform requestor of status, ensure the requestor’s needs are met and that proper procedures are followed. • Drive troubleshooting by enlisting appropriate teams for issue resolution and keeping the test data requestor and management informed of issues and status at all times. • Organize Onshore daily tasks and manage test data request tickets in appropriate priority. Assign tickets and create daily task list for Offshore team. Hold meetings with Offshore outside typical U.S. business hours to inform Offshore team about the day’s tickets and tasks, and to get feedback from Offshore about the status of each request. Provide Knowledge Transfer to Offshore for new functionality. Answer questions or find answers for Offshore team, when they are unable to do so due to time difference, in order to help them perform their tasks. • Document new technical processes for the team. When new functionality is encountered, research with Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to validate steps, create thorough and easy-to-follow documentation, and publish document to the Test Data Services team. • Attend project meetings to learn about data requirements. Interact with project teams to discover data and application layers impacted by the project, and identify potential data conflicts or data refresh needs in QA environments. Raise risks appropriately for potential data issues. Required skills: • Confident in speaking and meeting with business customers. Able to quickly ascertain and understand project data needs. Able to clearly and diplomatically explain and enforce Test Data Services team’s policies/procedures. Communicate in a timely manner with business customers in order to provide status, set expectations, and to represent the team in a way that creates a positive business experience. • Candidate should be an effective multi-tasker, a self-starter, show initiative, exhibit leadership qualities and the ability to effectively oversee day-to-day activities, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery. • Experience with automation and scripting, preferably SoapUI and Groovy script. • Ability to learn new software applications quickly, ascertain how applications interact with each other, and recognize the application/communication layers. • Ability to troubleshoot issues and identify at what point a problem is occurring in the application layer, and enlist the appropriate SME.
